How can I access my playlists offline?

If you are using an Android Smartphone, follow these instructions:
1. Create a playlist via the web site, android or simfy Player.
2. Open the Android app and log-in.
3. Click on "Music" below, in the footer and then on "Offline Playlists" in the upper part of the app.
4. Select the playlists you would like to listen to offline (blue checkmark).
5. Click "Done" to start the download process.
6. There is a number next to the "Offline Playlist" button. When this number is gone, the synchronization is complete and the playlist can be accessed offline.
7. Tip: Download your playlists using WLAN. It is faster and doesn't affect your bandwidth.

These settings will also help to improve and secure your download: 1. Using the app, go to: More > Settings > Activate "Display Time-Out" and, if need be, activate "Synchronize via WLAN"
2. Not using the app: Menu > Settings > WLAN > WLAN Settings > Extended Settings > Change the WLAN Standby Guidlines to "Never"

If you are using your iPhone/iPod touch, follow these instructions:
1. Create a playlist via the web site, iPhone or the simfy Player.
2. Go to the App Store, download and open the iPhone app.
3. Click on "Playlists," swipe across the name of one of your playlists and a menu will appear (Star - Favorites, Arrow - Download to Offline Mode, + - Add to Playlist).
4. Click on the arrow symbol and the selected playlist will be downloaded and can also be found under "Downloads."
5. If you return to the menu you will see a number next to "Downloads." When the number is gone, the download is complete and your playlist is ready to access offline.
6. All playlists that are available offline are highlighted with a blue dot.
7. Tip: Download your playlists using WLAN and then deactivate the WLAN function afterwards via Settings > 3G Download. It is faster and doesn't affect your bandwidth.

When you access your playlists offline (those marked with a blue dot), you are playing files that are saved locally which is why you don't require any data volume.
